Stiched Erosion Control Products
The stitched erosion control blanket composed of processed, but not spun, fibers that have been made into a needled felt mat which is further structurally enhanced by a stitch binding manufacturing operation. These mats can be made to two basic types:
- Open mesh netting grid placed on one surface of the mat
- Open mesh netting grid placed on both surfaces of the mat
These blankets are made out of natural vegetable fibers such as coconut coir or straw (paddy) etc., with photodegradable or biodegradable top and bottom layers sewn together with degradable thread (i.e.: jute).
Also available filled with soil substrates or mulched with pre-seeded or and pre-cultivated blankets.
