Coir Yarn Geo-Textiles
Coir yarn (CY) matting is a natural hand woven product and is made from mattress yarn. Due to a lower breaking strength than bristle twine it is used for more short term erosion control problems. This type of matting also has smaller open areas than the bristle twine matting. The matting can be woven into varying mesh sizes and used in surface erosion control on construction and other sites. Excelhigh Inc offers three different types of Coir yarn matting. CY400, CY700, CY900.
